3rd Podcast – Studio Time

Another podcast! This one details our latest romp in the studio and the resulting product – a masterful five song EP entitled “Handy Escape Coach.” Merch girl Amanda Shaftel asks the band about their experience at the Compound, about their artistic vision, their favorite part of recording, and more.

2nd Podcast! Marketing

The second official Achachay! Podcast is now up! We were driving back from a couple gigs in Dallas and Ft. Worth, and decided to tackle the issue of promotion and marketing. Whether or not we provide any clear answers is up in the air, but the discussion is undoubtedly fun to listen to. Feel free to leave comments on this post, and ask questions. We’ll address them in our next podcast, to come out some time next month.

Launched: The Achachay! Podcast

We’ve started a podcast! The whole idea is to track our successes and failures on the road to stardom, and to honestly explore the new, rapidly changing music industry. In this first episode, we introduce ourselves, the program, and then discuss the intricacies of getting paid in the music industry.

This is our first Podcast so please let us know how we can improve, and if you run into any technical difficulties. Undoubtedly it’ll get better and better. Also, please send us your suggestions for discussion topics. We’re going to try to focus on one thing at a time. It’s likely that while we’re on tour, more episodes will be released since we have a lot of time in the van and a lot to talk about.

Jordan Myska Allen, Ryan Greenblatt, and Hooch have dedicated their lives to making funky music and playing it around the globe. This is an uncensored and personal account of the band’s take on everything they face in the crazy new world of the music industry.
